NVIDIA's Tegra 2 to power upcoming Nintendo DS?
The question of whether one should buy a Nintendo DS or a Sony PSP for a handheld gaming console all boils down to whether you want to play games which offer a lot of eye-candy (in which case go for the Sony PSP) or not (so get a Nintendo DS or DSi instead). But that's just my opinion, and that said opinion of mine is going to go all the way around if a rumor started on Eurogamer's DigitalFoundry blog turns out to be true. It is said that an upcoming model of the Nintendo DS handheld gaming console is set to use NVIDIA's Tegra 2 processor, as it competes directly with the Sony PSP2 when both are released some time in 2010. At this point it sounds like the matter is just pure speculation, but I wouldn't be surprised if Tegra 2 does appear in either of the two gaming consoles.
