Sony outs Wi-Fi enabled BDP-S760 and S560 Blu-ray players
If you enjoy your media larger-than-life, then Sony's two new Blu-ray players are sure to have a place in your heart. Launched recently, the Sony BDP-S760 (£340 or about $566 USD) and S560 (£240 or about $400 USD) Blu-ray players both offer Wi-Fi connectivity, allowing for glitch-free enjoyment of online-based BD-Live features that come with most high-def releases nowadays.
They also offer a 6-second Quick Start feature, Dolby True HD audio, headphone jacks with multi-channel sound, and HMDI 1.3. The one thing that sets these two Blu-ray players apart is that the higher-end BDP-S760 has a couple of features called HD Reality Enhancer and Super Bit Mapping functionality.
I don't know about you, but the word "enhancer" has meant nothing to me these past few years, so you decide if it's worth spending the extra cash for. Whichever one you pick, both are already available now. In the UK, at least.
